Our job is to review the various custom writing companies in order to provide potential customers with more information. One of the companies that we have received a lot of questions about is EssayAgents.com. According to their website, they have been helping students for “over 10 years now.” This is an exaggeration since Web Archive shows that they have only been around since 2011. We find their website to be difficult to navigate and not very informative. But can they provide top quality essays? That is the most important question. Read further to get our answers.
EssayAgents.com dedicates themselves to helping college and graduate students when they need assistance with their writing and homework assignments. We can confirm that they offer a wide range of services on every topic including essay writing, PowerPoint presentations, dissertations, homework problem sets and even multiple choice exams. In addition, they offer editing, proofreading and rewriting services. According to the website, their team consists entirely of U.S and UK-based writers who have expertise in every academic field. The ordering process is pretty simple: you fill out the order form, make a payment, and they assign the paper to a writer.
Pricing and Discounts
The EssayAgents.com website does not include a page that is dedicated to prices, so it was not easy to get an immediate price quote. Ultimately, we discovered that a high-school level paper costs $17, which is a couple of dollars more than the industry average.
If you are a first-time customer, they offer a 25% discount and if you leave your name and e-mail, they offer a code for a 35% discount which offset some of the high prices to a certain degree. When we acquired about other discounts, we were told that return customers could request promo codes up to 15% off. They also have a pretty nice referral program. Every time you successfully convince a friend to use their services, you get paid 10 to 15% of the total cost of your friend’s order. You and your friend also receive a unique discount code.
The company's free features are standard options like a title page, 24/7 support, and reference list, etc. They have several features that cost extra including expert proofreading, copy of sources, initial draft and progressive delivery.
When we looked at the content of the website, we found some red flags. In particular, the content was poorly written and full of grammar mistakes. Given that the writers are all supposed to be from America and England, we would not have guessed that the web content writers were not. The blog articles also contain sloppy structure and weird word choices that certainly are not consistent with what a native English speaker would write. The reviews that we read do not give us a lot of confidence either. Most of the complains are precisely about the poor quality of the writing. The website offers free essay samples, and they are not much better. But what about the paper we ordered? It was nothing short of a catastrophe. What we discovered is that if you do not pay for proofreading, you will end up with what we got: a paper that contains no thesis statement, a bunch of “facts” that are clearly made up, and sources that the writer clearly misunderstands due to their lack of English fluency. This has to have been one of the worst papers we have received from any company.
According to the website, the customer support team is available 24/7 and can be reached by phone, email, and live chat. They never seemed to pick up the phone or reply to our emails, but at least live chat seems to work. We asked for a refund and it was granted without any issues.
Whenever we review a custom writing service, our goal is to be as even-handed as possible in our praise and criticism. But unfortunately, beyond the decent customer support team and the fact that we got our paper on time, we really do not have anything else good to say about EssayAgents.com. So if you are thinking about using their services, we would suggest that you take your business elsewhere.
